Responsibilities:
- Perform heavy lifting tasks to move hay bales, feed bags, and equipment.
- Assist with equine care including feeding, grooming, and exercising horses at a thuroughbred breeding farm.
- Use hand tools to repair fences, maintain barn structures, and perform general farm maintenance.
- Engage in animal husbandry practices such as administering medications and monitoring animal health.
- Handle various animals on the farm with care and attention.
- Assist in irrigating fields and maintaining proper watering systems.
- Ensure the overall care and well-being of all animals on the farm.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with animals, particularly in equine care.
- Proficiency in using hand tools for various farm tasks.
- Knowledge of animal husbandry practices and animal handling techniques.
- Familiarity with farm operations and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for animal care.
