Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to pet owners and visitors - Assist with the daily care and feeding of animals - Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas - Monitor the health and well-being of animals in the facility - Walk dogs and provide exercise and playtime - Administer medications as directed by veterinarians or supervisors - Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing and brushing - Maintain accurate records of animal care and behavior
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with animals is preferred - Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately - Strong communication skills and ability to interact with pet owners - Ability to lift heavy objects, such as bags of food or large dogs, up to 50 pounds - Knowledge of basic animal care and behavior is a plus - Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays At our facility, we prioritize the well-being of the animals in our care.
